The area around the eyes is one of the first to show signs of aging. Often, our patients come to us because they’re concerned with the appearance of dark circles, droopy eyelids, under-eye bags, or just an overall “tired” appearance.

Dr. Bryant performs a wide variety of peri-orbital (around the eye) treatments. These treatments include the use of brow-lift techniques (coronal, trichophytic, endoscopic, direct, and indirect, lateral temporal lift, and the incisionless RF brow lift).

Many patients may not need, or be ready for, surgical treatments. So we use a customized and combination approach to get the best youthful and refreshed results possible. We also make sure our patients maintain their own natural facial identity and avoid overtreatment. By correctly identifying the problem and using the correct treatment to address your concerns, we help you avoid looking unnatural.

Our combination approach ensures refined results. Many skin treatments – like CO2 laser, FRAXEL, IPL, and chemical peels – are used to refresh the upper face and eye region. And, dynamic wrinkles can be addressed with neuromodulators, such as Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, or Juveau. If you’re facing volume loss or hollowing, we can surgically treat these concerns with custom implants or through the use of carefully placed filler from the Juvederm or Restylane family.

Minimally Invasive Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty with Fat Repositioning to Fill Under-Eye Hollows and Improve Puffiness

What to Expect

Most eye treatments can be performed in our office using topical and local anesthesia. If you prefer the comfort of light sedation, the procedure can also be performed at a nearby surgical center. In many cases, eyelid surgery is performed in combination with other facial rejuvenation procedures.

Pre-Procedure Appointment

Before your procedure, you’ll meet with Dr. Bryant and his surgical care coordinator. Your personal treatment plan will be reviewed and you’ll be provided with all pre-operative and post-operative instructions — as well as medication if applicable.

Post-Procedure Experience

The recovery for different eyelid procedures may vary. Nonsurgical treatments usually require little-to-no downtime and you can resume your social activity that very same day.

Eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) is an outpatient procedure used to improve the appearance of the eyelids. The treatment can be performed on the upper eyelids, the lower eyelids, or both.

There are many different techniques used for eyelid surgery. During your consultation with Dr. Bryant, he will help decide which treatment is right for you. Common methods are the skin pinch, transconjunctival, skin-muscle flap, fat transposition or fat transfer, and incisionless approach.

What to Expect

The procedure can be done in the office or in an ambulatory surgery center. The patient will be able to return home (or to their local hotel room) that same day.

Before your procedure, you’ll meet with Dr. Bryant and his surgical care coordinator. Your personal treatment plan will be reviewed and you’ll be provided with all pre-operative and post-operative instructions—as well as medication if applicable.

Post-Procedure Experience

Depending on the cosmetic procedure you choose, your recovery may vary. If an incision was made, you may have a few small sutures, that will be taken out four to seven days after surgery. If you received a scarless treatment, you may only notice swelling and light bruising around your eyes.

Minimally Invasive Procedures

If you’re feeling unsure about surgical procedures, Dr. Bryant also offers nonsurgical approaches to refining your appearance. As a facial specialist, he carefully vets industry innovations – such as minimally invasive procedures – offering only the most safe and effective solutions. Dr. Bryant will help you find the right solution for you in your consultation.
